(DFPCL) has appointed Dr. Naresh Kumar Puritipati as President – Human Resources, marking an important milestone in his distinguished HR leadership career spanning more than three decades. In his new role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, talent development, organizational culture, and leadership initiatives as DFPCL continues to strengthen its workforce and support its long-term business growth ambitions.
A seasoned HR leader, Dr. Puritipati brings extensive expertise across human resources strategy, organizational development, leadership capability building, employee engagement, succession planning, and large-scale workforce transformation. Throughout his career, he has successfully partnered with business leaders to build high-performing organizations and create people-centric cultures that enable sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Deepak Fertilisers, Dr. Puritipati served as Human Resources Director at Lactalis India, where he played a pivotal role in shaping HR strategy, strengthening leadership development, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational transformation initiatives. His leadership contributed significantly to building robust people practices and aligning talent strategies with business priorities.
Earlier, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Spencer’s Retail, where he was responsible for attracting, developing, retaining, and engaging talent to deliver exceptional business outcomes. His career also includes a distinguished tenure with The Coca-Cola Company and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., where he held multiple leadership positions including Human Resources Director – Myanmar, Head of HR – Integrated Supply Chain, Associate Vice President HR – South India, and National Head – Organization Development & Cadre Building.
Across these assignments, he successfully led large-scale HR operations across India and Southeast Asia, driving initiatives focused on talent pipeline development, employee engagement, leadership programs, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, performance management, and organizational capability building. He also undertook an international assignment with Coca-Cola Bottlers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, where he helped establish HR strategies and institutionalize key people processes for newly launched operations.
Dr. Puritipati began his career with Heritage Foods Ltd. and Avanti Kopp Electricals Limited, where he built a strong foundation in human resources and administration. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Resources Management and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Andhra University, further reinforcing his expertise in people leadership and organizational development.
