Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Europ Assistance has appointed Savita Ved as Head HR – India & Middle East. In her new leadership role, she will lead the human resources strategy across the India and Middle East region, focusing on talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and people initiatives that support the company’s continued regional growth.
Savita brings over a decade of progressive human resources leadership experience, with deep expertise in strategic HR, business partnering, talent management, and organizational development. Prior to joining Europ Assistance, she spent more than 11 years with VFS Global, where she steadily advanced through multiple leadership positions. Most recently, she served as General Manager – HR, following earlier roles as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, Senior Manager – Human Resources, Manager – Human Resources, and Deputy Manager – Human Resources. During her tenure, she played a key role in strengthening HR strategy and supporting business growth across the organization.
Before VFS Global, Savita worked as an Executive – Human Resources at Orange Business Services, where she partnered with business leaders on HR initiatives and employee engagement. She also gained early professional exposure through internships at Godrej Infotech Ltd. and Siemens, laying a strong foundation for her career in human resources.
Complementing her professional journey, Savita has continued to invest in executive learning. She completed the Executive Development Program in Talent Management from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2024, strengthening her expertise in talent management, total rewards strategies, and leadership development. She also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations & Labour Laws (MILS) from the University of Mumbai.
