Siddharth Kirtane Joins Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited as Group Chief Executive Officer

Greater Hyderabad Area, India, June 2026 — Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL) has appointed Siddharth Kirtane as its Group Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, he will lead the company’s overall business strategy, operations, and growth initiatives, drawing on his extensive leadership experience across the commercial vehicles, construction equipment, electric mobility, and automotive sectors.

Siddharth brings over three decades of leadership experience across sales, marketing, business strategy, and executive management. Prior to joining Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited, he served as President – EV Business at Propel Industries Private Limited, where he led the company’s electric vehicle business and growth strategy. Earlier, he was Vice President – Marketing & HQ Operations at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, overseeing marketing strategy and headquarters operations while contributing to the company’s commercial vehicle business.

Before Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, Siddharth spent more than seven years with VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., where he held several leadership roles, including Business Head – Construction & Infrastructure, Vice President – Marketing – Heavy Duty Trucks, and Head Sales and Marketing – Mining Business. During this period, he played a key role in business planning, market development, and strengthening the company’s presence across multiple commercial vehicle segments.

Earlier in his career, Siddharth spent nearly 14 years with Volvo Trucks India, progressing through a series of leadership positions from Area Manager to Assistant General Manager – Sales (Regional Manager – Western India) before becoming Head – Brand & Marketing, Volvo Group Trucks. He was responsible for pan-India marketing, product management, go-to-market strategy, branding, and marketing communications, while also contributing to Volvo’s global brand management initiatives. He began his professional journey with Ingersoll Rand, where over seven years he advanced from Graduate Engineer Trainee to Manager – Sales (West), building strong expertise in technical sales, key account management, and business development.

Siddharth has further strengthened his leadership capabilities through executive education. He completed an Executive Programme in B2B Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2013 and earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management (PGCBM) from XLRI Jamshedpur between 2006 and 2008, complementing his extensive industry experience with advanced management and marketing knowledge.

About Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited

Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL) was incorporated in 1948 under the leadership of Shri Manubhai Sanghvi and Shri P.P. Sanghvi. The company began as the main dealer for Leyland Motors, UK, marketing its products across the erstwhile states of Bombay, Hyderabad, and Saurashtra, and assembled nearly 2,000 Leyland vehicles between 1949 and 1955.

Over the decades, AMPL has expanded its automotive portfolio through long-standing partnerships with leading manufacturers. It became a dealer for Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in 1958, later adding Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles across Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat. In 1986, the company secured the dealership for Maruti Suzuki across multiple Maharashtra cities, followed by partnerships with Kobelco in construction equipment and Audi for the state of Andhra Pradesh in 2007. Today, AMPL continues to be a prominent automotive dealership group with a diversified portfolio spanning commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, luxury automobiles, and construction equipment.
