Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2026 — NextPower has appointed Sanjeev Pushkarna as Vice President – Supply Chain Management, APAC. In this role, he will lead supply chain management across the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening procurement capabilities, supporting business growth, and advancing the company’s strategic objectives as it continues to drive innovation and sustainability in the renewable energy sector.
Sanjeev brings more than three decades of experience in procurement, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and operations leadership across the energy, renewable, electrical, and engineering industries. Prior to joining NextPower, he served as Chief Procurement Officer at Waaree Group, where he led procurement and supply chain management for one of India’s leading solar energy companies. His responsibilities included developing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, optimizing supply chains, driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier partnerships, managing risk, leading procurement teams, and advancing sustainability initiatives across the procurement function.
Before Waaree, Sanjeev spent over six years as Chief Procurement Officer at Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, where he played a key role in establishing procurement policies, leading global sourcing strategies, and supporting the company’s international expansion. Earlier, he served as Head – Corporate Purchase at Sterling and Wilson, overseeing procurement across multiple business divisions, including electrical, solar, EPC, cogeneration, LT panels, and diesel generator businesses.
His earlier career includes leadership positions at ABB as Assistant Vice President – Supply Chain Management, Suzlon Group as Senior Manager – Purchase, Reliance Energy as Additional Manager, and Crompton Greaves, where he gained cross-functional experience spanning production, quality, procurement, and marketing before managing key accounts for high-voltage power transformer projects.
With extensive expertise in strategic procurement, supplier relationship management, supply chain transformation, sustainability, and large-scale infrastructure projects, Sanjeev’s appointment reinforces NextPower’s commitment to building a resilient and future-ready supply chain across the Asia-Pacific region.
