DKSH Appoints Charaf Kadri as Vice President, Business Unit Healthcare, Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, July 2026 — DKSH has announced the appointment of Charaf Kadri as Vice President, Business Unit Healthcare, Vietnam. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, he will lead DKSH’s Healthcare business in Vietnam, driving market strategy, expanding business development opportunities, and fostering a high-performance culture to support the company’s continued growth in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic healthcare markets.

With 18 years of leadership experience across commercial, marketing, and general management roles in highly regulated healthcare environments, Charaf brings extensive expertise in navigating complex healthcare ecosystems involving regulatory authorities, healthcare institutions, and key opinion leaders across Asia Pacific and North Africa. His experience spans multiple therapeutic areas, including hematology, oncology, immunology, rare diseases, cardiology, respiratory, and neuroscience, alongside strong capabilities in strategy execution, portfolio management, market access, and institutional business.

Before joining DKSH, Charaf served as Country Head at Sandoz Vietnam, where he led the organization’s commercial strategy and business operations. Prior to that, he was Country Head for North Africa, overseeing operations across Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco. Earlier, he also held the position of Country President at Novartis Algeria, further strengthening his leadership credentials in the pharmaceutical industry.

His earlier career includes senior leadership positions at Takeda and Shire, where he served as Franchise Head for North Africa, in addition to regional marketing responsibilities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Eurasia. He also held commercial leadership roles at Abbott, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, AbbVie, and Sun Pharma, building deep expertise in brand management, key account management, portfolio leadership, and market development.

Charaf holds an MBA in Marketing Management from MBA ESG and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Constantine 1, providing him with a strong blend of business leadership and healthcare expertise.

In his new role, Charaf will lead DKSH Healthcare’s operations in Vietnam, focusing on accelerating market growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding commercialization capabilities, and advancing the company’s mission to improve patient outcomes through innovative healthcare solutions.
