London, England, United Kingdom, July 2026 — Ness Digital Engineering has appointed Sandeep Sharma as Chief AI Officer. In this newly created leadership role, he will lead the company’s global artificial intelligence strategy, helping clients accelerate AI adoption, build intelligent digital products, modernize enterprise platforms, and unlock business value through data, cloud, and AI-driven innovation.
Sandeep brings over 20 years of leadership experience spanning artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cloud computing, enterprise technology, private equity value creation, and management consulting. His career has been built at the intersection of technology strategy, product engineering, enterprise transformation, and business growth across global markets.
Prior to joining Ness Digital Engineering, Sandeep served as Director at KKR, where he led the Digital Value Creation practice across India and Southeast Asia within KKR Capstone Asia. In this role, he partnered with portfolio company leadership teams across technology services, SaaS, financial services, healthcare, education, consumer businesses, and infrastructure to drive technology-enabled growth, digital transformation, AI adoption, product innovation, M&A integration, and operational value creation throughout the investment lifecycle.
Earlier, Sandeep spent nearly five years with McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner, leading digital business building and technology-driven transformations for major enterprises across financial services, telecommunications, media, public sector, and conglomerates throughout India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. He advised executive leadership teams on digital strategy, engineering organizations, technology modernization, product development, and large-scale organizational transformation.
Before McKinsey, he served as Manager at Accenture, where he led cloud transformation programs for global clients, helping enterprises modernize technology infrastructure and accelerate cloud adoption across international markets.
Sandeep previously spent nine years with Oracle, progressing through senior consulting leadership roles across Europe and North America. As Senior Principal Consultant – Digital Transformation, based in New York, he advised Fortune 500 organizations across retail, energy, and financial services on enterprise digital transformation, private cloud architecture, engineered systems, and large-scale technology modernization. Earlier, as Senior Consultant based in the Netherlands, he worked across financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, and the public sector, delivering enterprise technology solutions across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and also completed an Exchange Program at CUHK Business School, strengthening his expertise in global business strategy, technology leadership, and innovation.
