Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2026 — A.P. Moller – Maersk has elevated Swapnil Saraswat to the role of Head of Customer Success – South Asia. Swapnil brings over a decade of experience across global logistics, supply chain management, customer experience, commercial strategy, business development, and international trade. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for driving customer-centric transformation, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering commercial growth across global markets.

Having spent 11 years with A.P. Moller – Maersk, Swapnil has progressed through multiple strategic leadership roles across India and Europe. Most recently, she served as Head of Customer Experience – Cold Chain Logistics, South Asia, where she led customer experience strategy for the rapidly growing cold chain business. Under her leadership, the business recorded 80% year-on-year growth, consistently maintained an NPS exceeding 80 for five consecutive quarters, and successfully established integrated cold chain logistics solutions for India’s fruits and vegetables sector. She also led several transformation initiatives focused on customer-centric innovation, change management, upselling capabilities, and organizational culture.

Simultaneously, since early 2025, she has also been serving as Chair Person – Employee Resource Network, Culture and Inclusion, South Asia, championing initiatives that promote an inclusive workplace culture and strengthen employee engagement across the region.

Earlier, Swapnil served as Customer Experience Manager – Retail & Lifestyle and Industrial Vertical, where she managed complex customer supply chains during one of the industry’s most challenging periods following the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, as Customer Experience Manager – Retail, Apparel & Lifestyle, she partnered with several of Maersk’s largest strategic customers, delivering innovative logistics solutions while helping clients navigate unprecedented global supply chain disruptions.

Her international leadership experience includes serving as Ocean Product Manager – North Europe to Middle East, based in Germany, where she developed trade strategy, pricing, market positioning, and customer solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent. She also held commercial leadership positions as Sales Account Manager – North India and Trade Manager – Capacity, Latin America and Oceania, strengthening Maersk’s market position through strategic business development and network optimization.

Before joining Maersk, Swapnil worked as Key Accounts Manager at Trident Group India, where she managed strategic relationships with leading global retailers, overseeing end-to-end product development, commercial negotiations, supply chain coordination, and customer delivery for international markets.

Earlier in her career, she gained experience through assignments with McCann Worldgroup, where she worked on brand strategy and marketing projects, served as a Faculty Member at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, and completed an engineering internship with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

Swapnil has further strengthened her leadership capabilities through executive education in global logistics and maritime management. She completed an Executive Program in Inland Transportation and Logistics from the University of Denver, and an Executive Development Program in Ports and Maritime Infrastructure from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Her elevation reflects Maersk’s continued investment in customer-centric leadership as the company expands its integrated logistics capabilities across South Asia while strengthening long-term customer partnerships and commercial excellence.
