Thirsk, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, July 2026 — Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN) has appointed Taz Hussain as its Chief Commercial Officer, bringing on board an accomplished commercial leader with more than two decades of experience across the global FMCG industry. In his new role, Taz will lead the company’s commercial strategy, sales, customer partnerships, revenue growth, and market expansion as IPN continues strengthening its position in the global pet nutrition market.
Prior to joining Inspired Pet Nutrition, Taz served as Commercial Director at McCain Foods, where he led a high-performing commercial organization across the Retail, Discounters, and Convenience channels in the United Kingdom. During his tenure, he was responsible for driving commercial performance, customer relationships, and sales execution across one of the UK’s leading food businesses.
Before McCain Foods, Taz spent eight years with Kraft Heinz, progressing through several senior international leadership roles across Canada, the Middle East, and global headquarters.
Most recently, he served as Head of Global Strategy Delivery, where he helped shape the company’s long-term strategic agenda by partnering with global organizations including Bain & Company and Microsoft. He led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, developed strategic execution roadmaps, and introduced margin improvement programs that identified more than US$300 million in savings, creating investment capacity to accelerate future growth.
Earlier, he was Head of Transformation – North America, leading major business transformation programs focused on AI integration, digital innovation, forecasting modernization, agile transformation, and strategic partnerships with Microsoft to enhance operational effectiveness across the North American business.
Prior to that, Taz served as Head of Customer Development, leading customer strategy, category development, sales operations, joint business planning, and commercial execution across North America. He also held several commercial leadership roles including Customer Business Lead, Sales Strategy Lead, and Commercial Director – Gulf & Head of Trade Marketing MENAT, where he managed commercial operations across the Gulf, Turkey, North Africa, and wider Middle East markets while building high-performing regional teams and strengthening strategic retailer relationships.
Earlier in his career, Taz spent more than three years with RB (Reckitt), serving as Sales Operations Manager – Middle East and Regional Trade Marketing Manager, leading go-to-market strategy, trade marketing, category management, and commercial excellence across multiple Middle Eastern markets.
He also built a strong commercial foundation during five years at Procter & Gamble, where he held positions including Market Strategy & Planning Manager and National Account Manager, successfully leading category growth, new product launches, strategic customer partnerships, and commercial innovation for major retail customers in the UK and Ireland.
Before joining P&G, Taz served as National Account Manager at Burtons Foods, managing wholesale, retail, and discounter accounts with full commercial responsibility. He began his FMCG career as Area Manager – Nestlé at Reach, gaining early experience in sales leadership and customer management.
Taz’s appointment brings extensive expertise in commercial strategy, business transformation, customer development, AI-enabled growth, category management, international business, and organizational leadership. His experience across leading global FMCG organizations positions him well to accelerate Inspired Pet Nutrition’s next phase of growth and innovation.
