Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2026 — JSW MG Motor India has elevated Saurav Prakash to the position of Head of Sales, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its presence in India’s fast-evolving passenger vehicle market.
In his new role, Saurav will lead the company’s sales strategy and execution across India, working closely with regional teams and dealer partners to drive sales growth, expand market presence, strengthen customer engagement, and support the company’s long-term business objectives.
Prior to this elevation, Saurav served as Zonal Head – South at JSW MG Motor India, where he was responsible for leading sales and marketing operations across the southern region. Under his leadership, the network comprised approximately 140 customer touchpoints with a business turnover exceeding ₹5,000 crore.
Earlier, he briefly served as Zonal Head – Sales (West) at Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited, overseeing sales and marketing operations across the western region, managing a network of 57 sales touchpoints with a business turnover of approximately ₹2,500 crore.
Before that, Saurav spent nearly nine years with ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Private Limited, progressing through several leadership positions including Regional Sales Manager (North), Zonal Head – Aftersales, and Zonal Head – Sales (South). During this period, he led regional sales, aftersales operations, dealer network development, customer experience initiatives, and business growth across multiple regions.
Earlier in his career, he served as Regional Manager (East) at Force Motors, leading sales and aftersales operations for the Passenger Car Division across Eastern India.
Saurav also spent nearly a decade with Hyundai Motor India Ltd, where he held progressively responsible roles including Area Parts & Service Manager, Regional Corporate Sales Manager, and Area Sales Manager, gaining extensive experience across sales, aftersales, dealer management, institutional sales, customer experience, and regional business operations.
Academically, Saurav holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (2010–2013).
With over two decades of leadership experience across automotive sales, dealer network management, aftersales operations, customer experience, regional business management, and sales strategy, Saurav brings deep industry expertise to his expanded leadership role at JSW MG Motor India.
