Illinois, United States, July 2026 — CSL has announced that Chijuana H. has assumed the role of Global Human Resources Business Partner, further strengthening the company’s global people leadership team. In her new position, she will lead strategic HR initiatives across multiple business units, partnering with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals, advance leadership development, leverage HR analytics for informed decision-making, and enhance the employee experience throughout the workforce lifecycle.
Prior to taking on this global role, Chijuana served as Associate Director, HRBP – Operations, Americas Region at CSL, where she partnered with manufacturing and operations leaders to drive organizational transformation, talent development, and workforce effectiveness. She played a key role in business transformation initiatives involving organizational design, talent mapping, and cultural assessments while guiding HR Business Partners through complex organizational changes. Earlier, she served as Associate Director, Human Resources, leading strategic HR programs focused on succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. During this period, she co-created the Frontline Leader Development Program, established the site’s Employee Engagement Team, and led organization design initiatives supporting business growth.
Before joining CSL, Chijuana was Senior Human Resources Manager at La-Z-Boy Incorporated, where she provided HR leadership for global corporate functions, launched the company’s global employee recognition program, spearheaded diversity and inclusion initiatives, and led change management efforts supporting organizational restructuring. Earlier, she spent four years with Meijer as Employee & Labor Relations Manager, supporting more than 2,000 employees across retail operations, supply chain, and corporate functions while leading workforce transformation and employee relations initiatives.
Chijuana’s HR leadership journey also includes more than seven years at Pfizer, where she held progressively responsible positions as Employee Relations Manager, Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Manager (HR Site Leader). Across these roles, she led strategic HR programs supporting manufacturing, supply chain, research and development, and corporate business units, overseeing employee relations, talent management, succession planning, organizational design, compensation, leadership coaching, and large-scale change management initiatives. Her work earned recognition for employee engagement and leadership development while supporting complex organizational transformations across multiple U.S. sites.
With more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience, Chijuana has built a distinguished career spanning global biopharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail, and consumer products. Her expertise in strategic HR partnership, organizational transformation, leadership coaching, talent development, employee engagement, and change management positions her to play a key role in advancing CSL’s people strategy and supporting its continued global growth.
