New York, United States, July 2026 — Siemens Mobility North America has appointed Shornda Cadore as Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), strengthening its executive leadership team as it continues to advance sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions across North America. Bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, and business development, Shornda will lead the company’s procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, operational excellence, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
Prior to her appointment as Chief Procurement Officer, Shornda served as Vice President of Procurement at Siemens, where she played a key role in strengthening procurement operations and aligning sourcing strategies with the company’s business objectives. Alongside her executive responsibilities, she is also a Chief Member at Chief, an exclusive leadership network focused on advancing executive women through leadership development and peer collaboration.
Before joining Siemens, Shornda served as Vice President of Procurement, Americas at Alstom, where she led procurement operations across the Americas with responsibility for more than US$2 billion in annual spend. During her tenure, she delivered more than €130 million in cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier optimization initiatives, successfully led the implementation of SAP Ariba across the region, and significantly expanded supplier diversity by increasing small-business supplier participation to 30 percent. Her leadership helped modernize procurement operations while strengthening operational efficiency and supply chain resilience.
Earlier in her career, Shornda spent more than 14 years with Pratt & Whitney, where she held senior leadership positions including Senior Director, Global Business Development and Senior Director, Supply Management, leading strategic sourcing, supplier management, and business development initiatives. She also held engineering and quality leadership roles with UTC – Carrier Corporation as Quality Analyst and Sikorsky as Senior Systems Engineer, building a strong technical foundation that has shaped her strategic approach to procurement, manufacturing, and operational excellence.
With more than two decades of executive leadership experience, Shornda has established herself as a respected leader in procurement, supply chain transformation, supplier diversity, digital innovation, and operational performance.
