Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, April 2025 – Abdullah Almurbati has joined Miahona as the new Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing over 15 years of strategic and operational HR leadership across some of Saudi Arabia’s most recognized companies. In his new role, Abdullah will lead Miahona’s people strategy as the company advances its public-private partnerships across the water and wastewater sector, in alignment with Vision 2030.
Prior to this, Abdullah served as Head of HR & Admin at SAICO Insurance for approximately five years. Reporting to the CEO, he built the company’s HR infrastructure and policies from the ground up, led a major HR transformation, and spearheaded performance and rewards systems aligned to IPO readiness and strategic KPIs.
Earlier, he was Country HR Manager at Olayan Saudi Holding Company, managing workforce capacity planning, nationalization, and succession strategies. At BCL (a JV with Baxter International), he also played a pivotal role in aligning global HR standards with regional compliance and business needs.
He also held senior HR roles at Maalem Financing Company, where he established the HR function in a start-up environment under Saudi Central Bank regulations, and at Jaddarah Workforce Services, overseeing end-to-end HR and administrative operations for a workforce of over 6,000.
Abdullah’s career began at Mohammad Al Mojil Group and includes leadership stints in ARKAZ, Hala Supply Chain Services, and Hajr Electricity Production Company, giving him a holistic view of HR in high-scale, regulated, and operations-heavy environments.
