Singapore, April 2026 — CBRE Asia Pacific has announced that industry veteran Abhishek Bajpai will be joining CBRE as Managing Director and Head of Client Engagement for Asia Pacific, effective May 1, 2026. Based in Singapore, he will work closely with regional leaders to build a dedicated client engagement platform designed to drive revenue growth and market share across CBRE’s APAC Leasing business.
With more than 23 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Abhishek Bajpai brings deep expertise in occupier advisory, leasing, transaction management, and enterprise account development. He is widely recognized as a trusted advisor to global occupiers and institutional investors, with a strong track record in building, scaling, and winning enterprise occupier accounts across the Asia Pacific region.
Before rejoining CBRE, Abhishek Bajpai served as Managing Director, Head of Leasing and Occupier Solutions, APAC at EQT Real Estate. In that role, he led leasing and occupier-focused initiatives across the region, further strengthening his profile as a senior commercial real estate leader with strong cross-border market experience.
Prior to that, he spent more than 17 years at Colliers, where he held a series of progressively senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific. Most recently, he served as Managing Director, Occupier Services, Asia. Earlier, he held the positions of Managing Director, Corporate Solutions Asia Pacific, Executive Director, Corporate Solutions Asia Pacific, Director, Corporate Solutions, Asia Pacific, Associate Director, Corporate Solutions, Asia Pacific, and Senior Manager – Corporate Services, Asia Pacific. Across these assignments, he built extensive experience in occupier solutions, transaction management, client strategy, and regional corporate real estate advisory.
Earlier in his career, Abhishek Bajpai was associated with CB Richard Ellis Singapore as Account Manager – Global Corporate Services, Asia, where he handled regional real estate transaction management. Before that, he served at CB Richard Ellis as Manager – Transaction Management Group, with responsibilities spanning business development, transaction management, acquisitions, dispositions, lease renewals, rent reviews, and advisory services, along with exposure to real estate investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals and corporations. His return to the broader CBRE platform therefore represents both a new chapter and a return to an organization that was part of his earlier professional journey.
Alongside his corporate roles, he is also a Member of YPO, the global leadership community of senior leaders across multiple countries. His career path reflects deep and consistent leadership experience across commercial real estate, occupier services, leasing, and client engagement, making him well positioned for this new regional mandate at CBRE.
Abhishek Bajpai also holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, adding strong academic grounding to a career built on regional market knowledge, client advisory capability, and real estate leadership.
