Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Abhishek Chaudhary has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Welspun Enterprises Ltd. (WEL). With over two decades of expertise in infrastructure, logistics, and strategic planning, Abhishek is set to lead the company towards continued growth and innovation. His extensive experience in working with state and central governments has been instrumental in policy formulation, project marketing, and implementation strategies, making him an ideal fit to steer WEL’s ambitious infrastructure projects.
Abhishek joins WEL after a remarkable 14-year tenure at the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), where he served as Vice President – Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary. At NICDC, he played a pivotal role in strategizing, planning, and overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects while liaising with state and central governments on critical PPP and non-PPP projects. His leadership encompassed legal, governance, and secretarial functions, as well as project financing and development.
Prior to taking on the role of CEO at WEL, Abhishek served as President – Business Development & Strategy at Welspun, where he focused on understanding key clients, resolving project pain points, and advancing the company’s digital transformation initiatives.
