In his expanded leadership role, he will continue driving the company’s global AI, advanced analytics, commercial excellence, and data transformation agenda, supporting Ajanta Pharma’s growth across India, emerging markets, and the United States.
Prior to this promotion, Abhishek Mishra served as Global General Manager – AI, Advanced Analytics & SFA at Ajanta Pharma, where he spearheaded the global strategy for Commercial Excellence, AI Transformation, and Sales Force Excellence. During his tenure, he successfully built and scaled the company’s data science and advanced analytics capabilities, delivering innovative AI-driven solutions and actionable insights that enhanced commercial performance and optimized business processes. His work involved close collaboration with cross-functional teams to leverage predictive analytics and artificial intelligence for business growth and operational excellence.
Before joining Ajanta Pharma, Abhishek spent nearly six years with Marsh McLennan, where he held leadership positions including Director – Data Science and Vice President – Analytics | Data Science. During this period, he led large-scale analytics and AI initiatives, helping organizations unlock value through data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, generative AI applications, and business intelligence solutions. His expertise in artificial intelligence and analytics positioned him among the leading practitioners driving enterprise transformation through data.
Alongside his corporate leadership responsibilities, Abhishek also contributed as a Data Science & Machine Learning Mentor, helping aspiring professionals build careers in data science and advanced analytics. His commitment to talent development and knowledge sharing reflects his passion for building future-ready analytics capabilities and strengthening the broader AI ecosystem.
Earlier in his career, Abhishek held analytics and data science leadership roles with Fiserv, where he served as Lead – Data Science and Senior Business Analytics professional, supporting advanced analytics initiatives across global markets. He also worked with Deloitte as an Analytics Analyst, eClerx as a Data Analyst specializing in pricing analytics, and Phi Creative Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in web analytics. Across a career spanning more than 16 years, he has built deep expertise in AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, data science, commercial analytics, and digital transformation.
