Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — NorthStar Insights has appointed Shalini Singh as Senior Advisor, Strategic Communications, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in communications advisory, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability-led business strategy. With nearly three decades of experience across corporate communications, ESG, sustainability, brand reputation, public affairs, and stakeholder management, Shalini brings extensive expertise gained through leadership roles at some of India’s most respected corporations and multinational organizations.
In her new role at NorthStar Insights, Shalini will advise clients navigating high-stakes business situations, including reputation management, regulatory challenges, corporate transformations, stakeholder engagement, sustainability communications, and strategic positioning. Her appointment comes as organizations increasingly seek senior-level counsel to manage complex communications landscapes while building trust among investors, regulators, customers, employees, and broader stakeholder communities.
Prior to joining NorthStar Insights, Shalini served as Integrated Communications, Brand & Sustainability Expert, Fractional CCO & CSO at Stewardship with Purpose. She also held the position of Group Head – Brand and Communications at RPG Group, where she led brand, reputation, and communications initiatives across the diversified conglomerate’s portfolio of businesses. Earlier, she served as Head – Corporate Communications and Sustainability for Holcim India, overseeing communications and sustainability strategy for Ambuja Cements and ACC, and played a significant role in brand transformation, ESG communications, and acquisition-related stakeholder engagement.
A major part of her career was spent at Tata Power, where she served for more than 16 years as Chief – Corporate Communications, CSR & Sustainability. During her tenure, she led sustainability integration, CSR initiatives, corporate reputation building, digital transformation of communications, and environmental stewardship programs that positively impacted millions of lives. Earlier leadership roles at Accenture, Bharti Tele-Ventures (Airtel), Kale Consultants, and Arvind Mills further strengthened her expertise across communications strategy, media relations, investor communications, brand management, and corporate affairs. Her extensive experience positions her to provide valuable strategic counsel to NorthStar Insights’ clients across industries and markets.
