New Delhi, India, 09th February, 2026: Nippon Paint India, part of the NIPSEA Group – Asia Pacific’s No. 1 paint and coatings manufacturer, today announced the appointment of Mr. Jenender Anand as Vice President of Nippon Paint India Automotive Refinish (NPIAR) Business. The appointment comes as Nippon Paint India continues to strengthen its leadership structure, consistent with its ‘India-focused’ growth strategy and a unified operating model announced earlier this year. Mr. Anand will report to Mr. Sharad Malhotra, Managing Director at Nippon Paint (India) Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Sharad Malhotra, Managing Director, Nippon Paint (India) Group said, “Jenender’s appointment strengthens our leadership depth at a critical phase of our India journey. His extensive experience across automotive and industrial ecosystems, combined with his ability to build and integrate high-performing teams, will be valuable as we scale our Indian Automotive Refinish, Nepal and IndoKote businesses under a unified and disciplined operating framework.”

With over 32 years of experience, Mr. Anand is a seasoned business leader with a strong track record across marketing, business development, operations and stakeholder management in Asia-Pacific and global markets. He brings deep expertise in B2B and B2C sectors, particularly in working with leading OEMs across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and two-wheelers.

Mr. Jenender Anand, Vice President, Nippon Paint India Automotive Refinish, said, “I view this as a strong platform to drive meaningful impact by leveraging my experience in OEM engagement and strategic market expansion. With a structured approach, I am confident we can unlock new value through operational excellence and stronger customer alignment. I look forward to contributing to the broader organisational vision and driving sustainable revenue growth.”

Prior to joining Nippon Paint India, Mr. Anand served as President of the Automotive and Power Cable Vertical at Svarn Group. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions with marquee organizations including Exxon Mobil Lubricants India, Goodyear India Ltd., MRF Tyres, Shriram Pistons & Rings, and Revolt Motors.

This leadership appointment aligns with Nippon Paint India’s broader strategy of ‘Expanding Possibilities’ and building a strong, ‘India-first’ organisation. Anchored in manufacturing excellence, governance and long-term value creation, the move reinforces spirit of ‘OneNess’—synergizing capabilities across the group to deliver superior value to stakeholders.
