New Delhi, India, August 2026 — Accor has appointed Urvi Mahajan as Director of Learning & Development – India & South Asia, strengthening its commitment to leadership development, talent excellence, and people capability across the region. In her new role, Urvi will lead learning and development initiatives across Accor’s India and South Asia operations, focusing on leadership capability, talent development, organizational learning, and building high-performing teams that enhance guest experiences and business performance.
With over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, hotel operations, service excellence, talent development, and leadership, Urvi Mahajan brings a wealth of expertise in developing people-centric cultures and driving operational excellence. Her appointment reflects Accor’s continued investment in nurturing talent and strengthening leadership capabilities across its diverse hospitality portfolio.
Prior to joining Accor, Urvi Mahajan served as Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) – Hotel at Trident Gurgaon, where she led strategic and operational initiatives across hotel functions, driving service excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, and strengthening leadership capability across departments. Earlier, she served as Rooms Division Manager at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Udaipur, overseeing front office, housekeeping, spa operations, budgeting, cost optimization, and guest experience initiatives while contributing significantly to commercial performance.
Throughout her distinguished hospitality career, Urvi has held several leadership positions across Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Trident Hotels, including Front Office Manager in Jaipur, Shimla, Udaipur, and Jaipur, as well as Assistant Front Office Manager and Assistant Manager – Front Office in Agra. Across these roles, she consistently delivered operational excellence, led high-performing teams, optimized guest satisfaction, strengthened revenue performance, and built a reputation for developing future hospitality leaders.
An alumna of the Oberoi School of Learning and Development, Urvi combines deep operational expertise with a passion for people development. Her strong track record of leading hotel operations while mentoring talent positions her well to advance Accor’s learning culture and leadership development agenda across India and South Asia.
