Prior to this, Ahmed was with Elsewedy Electric, where he held several progressive roles over a span of more than four years. Most recently, he served as Finance Manager, responsible for setting up the company’s financial structure, building relationships with key regulatory bodies such as the SC Zone, Tax Authority, and NSPO, and managing compliance, risk mitigation, and budget forecasts. Earlier within the same organization, he oversaw project-based financial operations, aligning cost controls and audits with strategic objectives.

Before Elsewedy, Ahmed served as Financial Controller at Diversey, where he had a notable tenure of nearly 18 years. He led transformative initiatives that significantly reduced costs, optimized cash flow, and modernized financial reporting systems. His role was instrumental in maintaining audit readiness and regulatory compliance, while supporting the business with advanced financial insights.

Earlier in his career, Ahmed built strong foundations in finance at organizations including Flemings CIIC for Securities Brokerage, where he served as Senior Accountant. He was responsible for core accounting operations, fixed asset management, and daily financial reporting—experience that laid the groundwork for his financial leadership capabilities today.

With a proven record of over 25 years across industrial, construction, and utility sectors, Ahmed’s appointment underscores DAOUD Construction’s commitment to robust financial stewardship and strategic advancement.
