Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — airtel has appointed Akanksha Kanojia as Head – Talent, Culture & DEI, marking a significant leadership move as she takes on a broader mandate spanning talent strategy, organizational culture, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Based in Gurugram, she will play a key role in strengthening people capability and driving cultural transformation across the organization.
Before assuming her current role, Akanksha Kanojia served as Head HR – DTH and Customer Experience at airtel, where she led HR strategy and people operations supporting customer-facing businesses. Her work focused on aligning workforce priorities with business performance and experience-led transformation.
Earlier, she held the role of HR Head – Organization Productivity and Transformation, followed by Circle HR Head for the Karnataka circle, where she oversaw end-to-end HR leadership for a large and diverse workforce. In these roles, she was deeply involved in driving organizational effectiveness, productivity initiatives, and people transformation agendas.
Her earlier tenure at airtel includes roles such as HRBP – Sales and Distribution, National Learning Lead, and Head – Talent Management and Development (Karnataka), where she led leadership capability building, learning strategy, and talent development initiatives across business units. She also handled Retail HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, and Network Talent Management roles, contributing to workforce planning, succession planning, learning & development, and employee engagement across regions.
