Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, April 2025 – Alicia Humffray has been appointed as Senior Director, Human Resources, Asia-Pacific (APAC) at Hertz, marking a significant leadership elevation within the global mobility company. In her new role, Alicia will lead HR strategy and operations across Hertz’s APAC region, driving workforce effectiveness, organizational development, and strategic HR transformation initiatives aligned with the company’s growth trajectory in key international markets.
Alicia has been a key part of the Hertz family for over 12 years, most recently serving as Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Australia and New Zealand for over seven years. In this role, she was responsible for managing the HR team and developing the strategic people plan across the AU and NZ operations, contributing to talent stability, engagement, and business alignment.
Prior to that, she held the position of Senior HR Business Partner for National Operations, where she managed HR for both the Hertz brand operations and licensee network across Australia. Her work involved the national roll-out of strategic HR frameworks and initiatives that enhanced performance and compliance.
Before joining Hertz, Alicia worked as National Human Resources Manager at colette by colette hayman, where she managed the full HR portfolio for the retail business across Australia. Her early HR leadership foundation was shaped through multiple roles at The Nuance Group, where she held responsibilities as HR Manager for Melbourne Airport, Senior HR Officer, and HR Officer at Sydney Airport—roles that strengthened her capabilities in industrial relations, employee relations, and HR operations in highly regulated environments.
She began her HR career at Harvey Norman, overseeing the national workers compensation insurance program and supporting HR across Australian franchisees.
