Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 2025 — Lockton, one of the world’s largest independent insurance brokerage firms, has announced the appointment of Ameena Alshammasi as Head of Placement, People Solutions. With extensive experience in employee benefits, health and risk management, Ameena’s appointment marks a significant step in strengthening Lockton’s people-focused insurance solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In her new role, Ameena will lead strategic placement operations within Lockton’s People Solutions division, driving innovative and tailored benefits solutions for clients. She will focus on optimizing client experience, enhancing placement efficiencies, and ensuring that Lockton continues to provide best-in-class advisory services in the evolving employee benefits landscape.
Before joining Lockton, Ameena served as Employee Benefits Placement Director at Nasco Saudi Arabia, where she led placement strategies and client servicing initiatives, aligning benefit programs with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks. Her leadership contributed to the firm’s growth in the health and benefits domain across key accounts in Saudi Arabia.
Prior to that, she worked with IHC – Insurance House Company as Health and Benefits Operations and Services Manager, overseeing operational excellence, vendor management, and customer solutions. Earlier, she spent nearly six years at Aon, where she advanced through multiple roles including Acting Employee Benefits Manager – Central Region, Account Manager, and Data Analytics Specialist, building a solid foundation in consulting, data-driven decision-making, and client relationship management.
Ameena began her professional journey as a Risk Management Analyst Intern at Derayah Financial, gaining valuable exposure to risk analysis and financial systems — experience that continues to shape her strategic approach to benefits and placement management today.
