Hyderabad, Telangana, India, October 2025 – Heritage Foods Ltd., one of India’s largest and most respected FMCG companies, has announced the appointment of Amit Shetty as its new Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President – HR. In his new role, Amit will lead the company’s human capital strategy across its Dairy and Renewable Energy divisions, driving initiatives in talent management, capability building, employee engagement, and organizational transformation.
With over 18 years of diverse HR leadership experience, Amit brings strong expertise in strategic HR, people development, and business partnering within the FMCG, food, and manufacturing sectors. His focus will be on strengthening Heritage Foods’ talent ecosystem, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning HR strategies with the company’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.
Before joining Heritage Foods, Amit Shetty served as General Manager – Human Resources at Frigorifico Allana Private Limited, where he led HR strategy and transformation, contributing to workforce efficiency and capability enhancement across functions. His leadership in driving employee engagement and performance-based culture positioned the organization for sustained growth.
Earlier, he worked with the IFFCO Group (Dubai) as Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where he headed HR operations for Emirates Refining Co. and served as the HR business partner for strategic teams including R&D, Government Affairs, and Industrial Sales. During his tenure, he led the organization to achieve “Great Place to Work” certification in the UAE and KSA, improved engagement scores, and implemented skill gap analysis programs for managerial excellence.
Prior to IFFCO, Amit spent over six years at the Allana Group in various HR leadership capacities, including General Manager – HR and Head of Learning & Development. He introduced several impactful initiatives such as “UBIKA – The Growth Wave” leadership development program and diversity and inclusion frameworks that earned industry accolades like the ET Best Diversity Initiative Award in 2019.
Earlier in his career, Amit gained significant experience at LafargeHolcim, where he contributed to major change management and leadership development projects, including the acclaimed “Developing Agile Leaders” workshop. His HR foundation was further shaped through roles at Beiersdorf (NIVEA India) and Tata Chemicals, where he focused on talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
