India, February 2026 – Amrita Shetty has been elevated to Director of Recruiting – India & ASEAN at Salesforce, marking a significant milestone in her 19+ year journey in global talent acquisition leadership.
In her expanded mandate, Amrita will lead the regional recruitment strategy across India and ASEAN, aligning hiring initiatives with Salesforce’s long-term growth ambitions. She will oversee talent acquisition across Sales, Distribution, and Corporate functions, partnering closely with business leaders to deliver workforce planning insights, talent intelligence, and leadership pipeline development in highly competitive Tier-1 markets. Her role also encompasses driving operational excellence in hiring workflows, embedding inclusive interviewing standards, and strengthening equality-led recruitment frameworks across the region.
Prior to this elevation, Amrita served as Director Recruiting – GTM India at Salesforce, where she led end-to-end recruitment for Go-to-Market and Corporate teams. During this tenure, she strengthened governance frameworks, built high-performing recruiting teams, enhanced assessment methodologies, and championed inclusive hiring practices aligned with Salesforce’s equality-driven culture.
Earlier in her career, Amrita spent eight years at Gartner as Manager Recruiting, Sales – India, where she built the foundational sales recruiting engine from the ground up. She partnered with executive leadership during multiple organizational restructures and played a pivotal role in stabilizing and scaling the sales leadership ecosystem across India.
She also held the role of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – South Asia at Thomson Reuters India Pvt, managing end-to-end recruitment across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and other South Asian markets, supporting Sales and Editorial functions with strategic sourcing and regional talent frameworks.
Her elevation reflects Salesforce’s continued focus on building scalable, diverse, and high-performing talent ecosystems across India and ASEAN — a region critical to the company’s global growth strategy.
