Chicago, Illinois, United States, September 2024 – Amy Lawlor has been appointed as the new Principal, Chief Human Resources Officer at Studio Gang. In this role, she will oversee all aspects of human resources, focusing on strategic planning, compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Amy has been with Studio Gang for approximately 3 years and 9 months, initially serving as the Director of Human Resources before advancing to her current role. At Studio Gang, she has been instrumental in managing HR functions for the globally engaged architecture firm, encompassing leadership, DEI, and employee engagement.
Prior to Studio Gang, Amy worked at CMK Companies for about 3 years, where she handled all human resources and general administration for the real estate development company. Her responsibilities included recruiting, performance management, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Before CMK Companies, Amy served as the Director of Human Resources at Soul City Church for roughly 2 years and 8 months. She was responsible for developing HR processes and managing various HR functions for the non-denominational church.
Amy also brings valuable experience from her roles at Passion Conferences, Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company, and Bell Oaks Executive Search. At Passion Conferences, she coordinated logistics for international events, while at Yoh and Bell Oaks, she managed recruitment and client services. Her early career included roles at Corestaff Services and Spherion, where she supervised temporary staff and recruitment.
