Madrid, Spain, November 2024 – Andrés Ortega has stepped into the role of Chief People Officer at Hotelatelier [Petit Palace Hotelity + ICON Hotels], where he will lead the company’s human capital strategy and drive initiatives aligned with its purpose: “We are People who take care of People.” In this role, Andrés will oversee talent management, organizational development, and cultural transformation as the company continues its journey of innovation and growth in the boutique hotel sector.
Prior to joining Hotelatelier, Andrés served as Chief Talent Officer at McCann Worldgroup Spain, where he successfully led talent strategy and operations for over two years. His leadership focused on aligning people strategy with business goals and fostering innovation within the organization.
Before that, Andrés held the role of Head of HR Iberia at Experian, overseeing HR operations in the region and implementing forward-thinking talent and learning initiatives. Additionally, at ING España & Portugal, he contributed significantly to employee experience and talent acquisition strategies, holding roles such as Head of Employee Experience and Head of Talent, Recruitment, and Learning Spain & Portugal over four years.
His earlier career includes prominent HR leadership roles at SanDisk, Maersk Logistics, and ALSA, where he honed his expertise in HR innovation, talent management, and organizational transformation on a global scale.
Andrés also brings an academic dimension to his profile, serving as Academic Director of the Digital Talent Executive Program (DTEX) at ISDI, reflecting his commitment to advancing HR practices in the digital era.
