Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom, January 2025 – Andy Edge has joined Parkdean Resorts, the UK’s largest holiday park operator, as its Chief Marketing Officer. With over three decades of marketing leadership experience, Andy will oversee marketing, revenue, digital, partnerships, and customer experience functions across 66 locations in the UK. His expertise will be instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving strategic growth for the organization, which is backed by Onex Private Equity.
Before joining Parkdean Resorts, Andy served as Head of Commercial Growth & Digital at Diageo, managing revenue for four renowned brand homes in Ireland, including the Guinness Storehouse, which earned the title of World’s Leading Tourist Attraction in 2023. Andy also held a part-time role as a Non-Executive Director at Visum Technologies, contributing to its innovation in HD imaging solutions for leisure attractions.
Prior to that, Andy was Country Manager (Ireland) at David Lloyd Leisure, where he managed full P&L responsibility and led a team of 150 employees. At Away Resorts, he served as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing yield management, digital marketing, and IT during the company’s private equity transition.
Earlier in his career, Andy was Commercial Director at ODEON Cinemas Group, managing a £410M turnover and leading marketing and digital initiatives for one of Europe’s largest cinema chains. His vast experience also includes leadership roles at Park Resorts, Merlin Entertainments, Holsten-Brauerei, and Scottish & Newcastle.
