Bengaluru, India, June 2026 – HomeLane has promoted Ankita Raina to General Manager – Human Resources, where she will lead the HR Business Partner teams across both HomeLane and DesignCafe, supporting the organizations’ continued growth, integration, and people transformation agenda.
In her expanded role, Raina will be responsible for driving strategic workforce planning, talent management, organizational transformation, leadership enablement, employee experience, and future-ready people practices across both brands. She will play a critical role in aligning people strategies with business priorities while strengthening organizational capabilities to support the next phase of growth.
Reflecting on her journey, Raina highlighted the importance of balancing business outcomes with employee experience, navigating ambiguity with resilience, and building scalable people practices that evolve alongside organizational growth.
Raina has been associated with HomeLane for nearly five years and has played a pivotal role in building and strengthening the company’s HR business partnering capabilities. Most recently, she served as Associate General Manager, leading a team of HR professionals across India and partnering closely with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals. Prior to that, as Senior Manager, she led the HR Business Partnering function for HomeLane’s core business of more than 1,500 employees, helping establish key HR processes, people frameworks, and operating models to support rapid business expansion.
Before joining HomeLane, Raina spent over five years with CarDekho, where she held multiple HR leadership roles, including Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, supporting international operations across India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. During her tenure, she gained extensive experience in HR business partnering, employee engagement, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness within high-growth business environments.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Grail Insights, where she built expertise in talent management, succession planning, professional development, employee engagement, resource optimization, and workforce capability development.
With more than 14 years of experience across human resources, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, succession planning, and strategic HR business partnering, Raina has established herself as a people leader capable of building high-performing teams and scalable people practices in rapidly growing organizations.
Her promotion reflects HomeLane’s commitment to strengthening its people leadership as the company continues to expand its footprint and enhance employee experience while driving sustainable business growth.
