EET Future Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Ankur Kumar as its new Chief Executive Officer. With a robust tenure of more than two decades in the energy sector, Kumar is set to lead the company towards pioneering innovations in sustainable energy solutions. His leadership is expected to bolster EET Future Energy’s initiatives in renewable power and green technologies across the Indian market.
Before his current role, Kumar served as the Chief Operating Officer at ACME Solar Holdings Pvt Ltd, where he was instrumental from April 2023 to April 2024 in overseeing significant projects across solar, wind, and hybrid models, including Full Day Renewable Energy (FDRE) and Peaking Power projects. Under his stewardship, the company enhanced its operational efficiencies and profitability, marking a significant phase of growth and sustainability in its offerings.
Prior to joining ACME Solar Holdings, Kumar held the position of President and CEO at ACME Group from April 2021 to March 2023. His responsibilities included extensive project budgeting, optimizing technical parameters for renewable projects, and strategic vendor negotiations that underscored his comprehensive approach to leadership and execution.
Kumar’s earlier roles also included significant leadership positions at Apolline Energia Pvt. Ltd. and TBEA Sunoasis, where he developed strategies for entering and expanding the Indian Solar Independent Power Producer (IPP) business, overseeing the launch and successful operation of projects generating up to 1.8 GW of solar power.
His career also encompasses strategic and operational roles at ACME Group, where he directed corporate strategy and managed the group’s expansive solar business initiatives, laying the groundwork for his expertise in the renewable energy sector.
