Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2025 – APCO has announced the appointment of Anshu Gupta as Director of Public Policy and Public Affairs. In this role, Gupta will provide strategic counsel and lead advocacy efforts, bringing extensive expertise in government relations, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder management to APCO’s global clientele.
Gupta most recently served as Senior Director of Public Policy and Public Affairs at NGC International Advisory, where she worked for nearly four years advising on strategic alliances, regulatory advocacy, and public affairs across multiple regions. Her leadership focused on driving policy outcomes and building effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
Before NGC, Gupta was with General Mills for almost five years in key leadership roles. She served as Nutrition, Regulatory and External Affairs Leader – AMEA, and earlier as Health and Nutrition Leader – India and MENAT at the Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition. In these roles, she led external relations, policy advocacy, and corporate communications across diverse markets, ensuring alignment with public health and regulatory standards.
Earlier in her career, Gupta spent more than seven years with Nestlé, where she held multiple roles, including Manager Corporate Affairs in India, Wellness Manager, and Corporate Affairs Consultant in Geneva. Her tenure included driving policy advocacy, strategic communication, and external relations at both local and global levels.
Gupta began her career in nutrition and public affairs with organizations such as Dabur Foods Ltd., Panacea Biotec, Parry Nutraceuticals Limited, the Centre for Dietary Counseling (CDC), and Old World Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. Over this period, she built deep expertise in nutrition, health policy, and stakeholder engagement across industries. She holds a degree in Public Policy Analysis from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), further strengthening her policy leadership credentials.
