Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Anshuman Mohapatra has started a new position as Head Corporate Banking West at RBL Bank, where he will lead corporate banking responsibilities for the West region, strengthening client coverage, relationship management, and business growth across key corporate and institutional segments.
Before joining RBL Bank, Anshuman Mohapatra spent close to two years with IndusInd Bank as Senior Vice President, building on his corporate banking expertise with a focus on client development, relationship building, and team integration.
Prior to that, he built a long and significant tenure of over 17 years at Axis Bank as Senior Vice President, where his work spanned Corporate Relationships, Corporate Finance, and Project Finance, along with deep exposure to infrastructure and real estate financing, deal sourcing, and large corporate engagements.
Earlier in his career, he served for about two years as Manager at ArcelorMittal, adding industry-side perspective before returning to banking leadership tracks.
He also began his professional journey with Indian Railways as ADME, and he holds an MBA (Finance, Marketing) from XLRI Jamshedpur.
