Anu Vishwas Sarkar Elevated to Global Head of Leadership, Talent & Succession at Deutsche Bank

London, United Kingdom, July 2025 – Anu Vishwas Sarkar has stepped into an enhanced role as Global Head of Leadership, Talent & Succession at Deutsche Bank, bringing nearly two decades of extensive experience in global leadership development, talent strategy, and organizational transformation. In this newly expanded position, Anu will spearhead leadership pipelines, succession planning, and executive capability development across the bank’s global operations.

Over the past several years at Deutsche Bank, Anu has held multiple senior roles including Global Head of Leadership Strategy and Development, Global Head of Talent and D&I Programmes, Senior Organization Design Consultant, and Executive Talent & Successor Development Lead. Her leadership has been instrumental in building inclusive leadership frameworks and strengthening strategic talent initiatives across regions including EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.

Prior to her global mandates, Anu served as Regional Head of Diversity & Inclusion for APAC and Talent & Development Head – South Asia, where she built regional talent capabilities while integrating global priorities into local leadership strategies. Her expertise spans diversity & inclusion, executive coaching, leadership development, and organization design.

Anu began her career with roles at HSBC as Management & Leadership Development Lead – South Asia, and Larsen & Toubro as Executive HR and Training, laying the foundation for her deep HR and leadership expertise. She holds an MBA in HR from SIBM, a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching, UK, and a certificate in counselling psychology from Head to Heart, India. She also contributes to the sector as a Board Trustee at the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF).
