Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2024 – Anusha Palkar has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Shiny Shipping and Logistics Private Limited. In her new role, Palkar will lead the HR strategy and operations, focusing on enhancing organizational culture, driving talent acquisition and development, and aligning HR initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.
Anusha Palkar joins Shiny Shipping and Logistics from US Grace Logistics Pvt Ltd (INDIA), where she served as Manager HR for approximately one year. In this position, she managed various HR functions including payroll, strategic human resource planning, and employee relations.
Prior to her role at US Grace Logistics, Palkar was the Assistant Manager HR at US Grace Logistics Pvt Ltd (INDIA) for about two years. She played a key role in ethical and confidential HR practices, team management, and the overall HR strategy for the organization.
Earlier, Palkar worked as Associate Manager HR at Union Maritime Ltd. for approximately one year and five months. Her responsibilities included payroll management, attendance management, and contributing to HR operations.
Before Union Maritime Ltd., Palkar held the position of Senior Executive Human Resources at Grasim Industries Limited (Aditya Birla Group) for about three years and three months. She was involved in recruitment, contract recruitment, and implementing HR strategies.
Palkar began her career as HR & Admin Executive at Aditya Transmovers & Logistics Private Limited where she worked for around three years and seven months, focusing on HR and administrative functions.
