Greater Boston, United States, January 2025 – Aoife Fortin has been appointed as Senior Director, Human Resources – Americas at HYCU, Inc., a global leader in Data Protection as a Service (DPaaS). In her new role, Aoife will spearhead HR strategies and initiatives across the Americas region, contributing to HYCU’s mission of revolutionizing data safety with innovative, simple, and scalable solutions.
Before joining HYCU, Aoife held the position of Senior Director, People & Talent Acquisition at Alumni Ventures. During her tenure, she managed talent acquisition and HR operations, aligning recruitment strategies with business objectives to support growth across multiple locations in the United States.
Earlier, Aoife served as Director, Global People & Talent Acquisition at Transmit Security, where she led a global team and implemented strategic HR and talent initiatives, contributing to the company’s growth as a cybersecurity unicorn. She successfully developed and executed programs in HR strategy, succession planning, and change management, enhancing organizational effectiveness.
Her career also includes over six years at Salesforce, where she held roles such as Global Technical Recruiter, Program Manager and Global Manager, Recruiting Operations & University Relations. Aoife was instrumental in leading technical recruitment, building an MBA program for product managers, and overseeing global HR operations, including ATS implementation, onboarding, and employer branding.
Aoife began her career in HR with positions at ZoomInfo and MAS Medical Staffing, gaining valuable experience in recruitment and generalist HR functions that laid the foundation for her expertise in strategic HR leadership.
