Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Aparna Sharma has joined Ecoflex Packaging Limited as Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent), further strengthening the company’s board with her distinguished leadership and deep expertise in human resources, governance, and organizational transformation. In her new role, Aparna will also serve as a Member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee (NRC) and the Stakeholders Relationship Committee (SRC), contributing to strategic governance, board diversity, and stakeholder engagement.
With an illustrious career spanning more than two decades, Aparna has held numerous leadership and board positions across a wide range of industries. She currently serves as Independent Director on the boards of Rossari Biotech Ltd, Unitop Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Fabtech Technologies Ltd, and Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management India Pvt. Ltd., among others. Her previous board associations include Hexagon Nutrition Ltd, SMILE Microfinance Ltd, Rajratan Global Wire Ltd, and T.S. Alloys Ltd (a 100% subsidiary of Tata Steel). In these capacities, she has played a pivotal role in audit, remuneration, CSR, and stakeholder committees, bringing strong governance and strategic insight to the organizations she serves.
Aparna’s corporate leadership journey includes her tenure as Chief Human Resources Officer at Greaves Cotton Ltd, Country Head – HR at Lafarge India, Director – HR at Deutsche Bank (GBS Service Centre), and senior HR leadership roles at UCB India, Novartis, and Monsanto. Across these roles, she has led large-scale HR transformations, organizational restructuring, culture-building programs, and leadership development initiatives.
An alumna of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Aparna is a highly respected HR thought leader, motivational speaker, and author of three acclaimed books — “Between U & Me: Ordinary People – Extraordinary Lessons”, “Reality Bytes – The Role of HR in Today’s World” (in both English and Hindi), and “Reality Bytes – वर्तमान समय में मानव संसाधन की भूमिका”. She is also the Consulting Editor of The People Management Magazine, India’s leading HR publication, and the Managing Consultant at Surya Consulting, through which she mentors leaders, conducts executive coaching, and delivers high-impact training programs.
