Houston, Texas, September 2024 – April Gorelik has joined TAS Environmental Services, L.P. as the new Vice President of Human Resources. In her role, April will oversee HR strategies, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals to maintain a strong and resilient workforce.
Before joining TAS Environmental Services, April Gorelik served as Human Resources Director at Carrier Enterprise for over a year. In this role, she led HR operations in Houston, focusing on career development and employee engagement, while managing HR services across multiple locations in a hybrid model.
Earlier, April was the HR Manager for Republic Services for approximately ten months. She managed HR functions for the Environmental Services division, overseeing landfills, energy waste, corporate functions, and emergency response services. She contributed significantly to workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations within the organization.
April also worked at US Ecology, Inc. (a Republic Services Company) as the Gulf Coast Regional Human Resource Business Partner Manager for nearly two years. During her tenure, she developed strategies to reduce overtime and improve driver recruiting and retention processes. She played a pivotal role in driving workforce optimization and succession planning initiatives for the region.
In addition, April held various HR positions at Dichtomatik for over three years, where she was responsible for HR functions in Houston and North Carolina. Her leadership in recruiting, talent management, and policy implementation helped align organizational culture with business objectives.
