Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2025 — Arvind Chandra has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Tenneco India, marking a new chapter in the company’s growth journey. With more than 30 years of global leadership experience across leading organizations including Spark Minda, ZF Group, Faurecia, Delphi/Phinia, and Aliaxis, Arvind brings deep expertise in business transformation, smart mobility solutions, and manufacturing excellence.

Before joining Tenneco, Arvind was Chief Executive Officer of Aliaxis India, where he managed large-scale operations, driving significant revenue growth and enhancing governance and sustainability across the business. His tenure at Spark Minda as CEO of Vehicle Access and Security Systems was notable for delivering transformative results, including a dramatic rise in shareholder value and steering the shift towards vehicle connectivity and cybersecurity.

Arvind also played critical leadership roles at ZF Group as Vice President – Strategic Planning & Marketing (Brussels), Faurecia (Paris) as Global Director of Marketing, and spent over 15 years at Delphi, where he held various global positions in product management, sales, and operations across the US, Europe, and India.

His career journey also includes running his own strategic consulting practice, Achandra Consulting & Investments S.L. (Munich), advising Fortune 500 companies and startups on smart mobility, Factory IIOT, and digital transformation.

At Tenneco India, Arvind’s focus will be on scaling operations, strengthening customer partnerships, and positioning India as a global hub for manufacturing and innovation across Tenneco’s key segments – Clean Air, Monroe Ride Solutions, Champion Ignition, and Powertrain.

His appointment underscores Tenneco’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence, as the company looks to expand its footprint and reinforce its leadership in the dynamic Indian automotive market.
