Los Angeles, California, United States, March 2025 – Audrey Johnson has joined UCLA Health as the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition Strategy. In her new role, Audrey will lead the development and execution of innovative talent acquisition programs designed to attract, develop, and retain top healthcare professionals. She will also oversee cross-functional initiatives that align with UCLA Health’s mission of delivering world-class care, driving operational excellence, and supporting long-term workforce strategies.
Audrey brings over two decades of experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, HR operations, and organizational change management, having worked with some of the most prestigious names in healthcare and transportation.
Prior to this, Audrey served as Director of HR Operations at Phoenix Children’s, where she led strategic HR infrastructure development, implemented process enhancements, and spearheaded compliance improvements across centers of excellence.
Previously, she spent over nine years at Kaiser Permanente, most recently as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition Operations, where she oversaw the national talent acquisition efforts for over 77,000 annual hires. Her leadership was pivotal in reducing compliance risk, standardizing operations across a remote workforce, and implementing rapid automation initiatives.
Audrey also held impactful leadership roles at Amtrak, where she led the transformation of national talent acquisition, and at the American Red Cross, where she spent nearly eight years advancing talent acquisition strategy, workforce development, and performance management initiatives across multiple business lines.
