Pune, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Azzmin Mehta has taken on a new role as GBS HR Lead, Pune at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, where she will lead the people function for the company’s Global Business Services hub in Pune. In this strategic leadership role, Azzmin will focus on building high-performing teams, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, and establishing strong HR foundations to support organizational growth within one of the world’s leading pure-play ice cream businesses.
Prior to joining The Magnum Ice Cream Company, Azzmin served as Head of Human Resources at COWRKS, where she led end-to-end HR operations for approximately 300 employees, drove talent acquisition strategies, launched diversity and mentorship initiatives, modernized HR policies, and delivered substantial operational efficiencies. Her leadership at COWRKS significantly strengthened organizational culture, employee engagement, and strategic HR delivery.
Earlier, Azzmin held multiple progressive HR leadership positions at Genpact, where she served as HR Lead, Senior Manager – HRBP and L&D Lead, and Senior Manager – L&D Lead, managing global HR operations for large-scale teams supporting major international consumer goods organizations. Her experience there strengthened her capabilities in talent management, global HR frameworks, retention strategies, and leadership development.
Azzmin also built an extensive hospitality HR career with Marriott International, serving in multiple senior HR leadership roles including Director of Human Resources, HR Business Partner, and Training Manager across marquee properties such as The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, JW Marriott Pune, and Marriott properties in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. Her broad experience spans HR strategy, organizational development, succession planning, employee engagement, and culture transformation across multiple industries.
With over two decades of HR, talent development, and people leadership experience, Azzmin brings deep expertise in strategic human resources, business partnership, and organizational transformation to her new role.
