Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2025 – Balachandran Ramamurthi has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer (CBO) – Global Operations at EngageNest. In this role, Balachandran will oversee global business strategy, revenue growth, partnerships, operations, and investor relations, driving EngageNest’s mission to redefine communication through innovation.
Balachandran has been a part of EngageNest since September 2023, initially serving as Director of Sales & Operations – APAC/MENA. During this time, he was instrumental in developing strategic initiatives to drive regional growth and expand EngageNest’s market footprint across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Prior to EngageNest, Balachandran held the position of Enterprise Sales Head – India at MOBtexting (a BICS company), where he led efforts to define and implement strategic objectives, improve operational performance, and drive product penetration in the Indian market.
Balachandran also spent over four years at VCon Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, where he served as DGM Sales and Head of Digital Marketing, overseeing national brand-building campaigns and sales of smart solution products. Earlier, as Regional Sales Head – South, he led successful regional sales operations and product implementation across Karnataka and Kerala.
Earlier in his career, Balachandran held key roles at Konica Minolta, Reliance Communications, Vodafone, and CBS – Airtel, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership in sales, marketing, and strategic management, consistently delivering results across diverse industries.
