Bikram K Nayak joins Vedanta, Alumina Business in Lanjigarh as the Chief Human Resources Officer. With this role, Nayak is poised to play a critical part in Vedanta’s ambitious drive towards becoming one of the top three global leaders in the Aluminium industry.

Bikram K Nayak brings to Vedanta a rich tapestry of experience and achievements from his illustrious career in human resources management. Before joining Vedanta in March 2024, Nayak demonstrated his expertise at Empert Consultants as the Chief Business Officer. At Empert Consultants, he led a dynamic team focused on hiring and confidential searches, especially niche hiring for multinational corporations in the manufacturing and technology sectors. His work significantly contributed to guiding startups in establishing their HR departments and advising on HR transformation programs.

Prior to his tenure at Empert Consultants, Nayak served as the Associate Vice President of the People Function at Mindtree, where he was instrumental in driving significant HR policy reviews and process improvements. His career also includes a substantial stint at Larsen & Toubro, where he was deeply involved in strategic HR planning and initiatives and contributed significantly to making L&T-NxT a remarkable entity within L&T.
