Boise, Idaho, United States – August 2024 – Blandon Prowse has stepped into the role of Senior Director, Global Talent Management at Micron Technology. In this new capacity, Blandon will oversee Micron’s global talent management strategy, focusing on developing and implementing programs that foster talent growth, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to this role, Blandon served as Senior Director, Global Organizational Development & Effectiveness at Micron Technology, where he developed global strategies in organizational design, culture enhancement, and team efficiency. He collaborated with senior leaders to deliver customized interventions that drove individual and team performance across Micron’s global operations.
Previously, Blandon was the Director, Global Executive & Leadership Development at Micron, where he designed and implemented leadership programs supporting 6,000 global leaders across 11 countries. His efforts included executive coaching and a comprehensive catalog of self-guided and facilitated resources, achieving nearly 100% participation from Micron’s leadership annually.
Blandon also has a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he most recently served as Director of Operations, 419th Force Support Squadron, managing HR and personnel services for over 1,200 military members. Earlier roles included Flight Commander and Section Chief, where he supported large teams in readiness, personnel management, and deployment.
Before joining Micron, Blandon worked at IM Flash as Senior Manager, Leadership & Organizational Development, where he led the transition and integration efforts during Micron’s acquisition of the company. He also held HR roles at the Tennessee Valley Authority and Target, contributing to HR initiatives, employee relations, and organizational development.
