Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — Boston Scientific has appointed Nikhil Sharma as Senior Lead – Strategic Accounts & Partnership Solutions. In his new role, he will be responsible for building and managing long-term strategic partnerships with key institutional accounts across South and East India, while coordinating across Boston Scientific’s business divisions to deliver integrated, solutions-led commercial engagement.
With over 13 years of experience across healthcare business development, strategic partnerships, hospital operations, and healthcare consulting, Nikhil brings deep expertise in institutional relationship management, market expansion, and commercial strategy. His move to Boston Scientific marks the next phase of a career dedicated to strengthening healthcare ecosystems through innovation, collaboration, and long-term partnerships.
Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Nikhil spent six years with Fresenius Medical Care, where he held progressively senior business development roles. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager – Business Development, Care Delivery International, leading international business development across Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, he designed five-year business development strategies, built hospital partnership pipelines, pioneered innovative commercial models, and developed C-suite relationships with government health ministries, private hospital groups, institutional investors, and healthcare leaders across multiple countries. Earlier, as Manager – Business Development, India, he led end-to-end growth initiatives for the Care Delivery division, driving strategic expansion and commercial execution across the Indian healthcare market.
Earlier in his career, Nikhil gained healthcare advisory experience as a Healthcare Advisory Trainee at PwC India, where he contributed to healthcare accessibility and affordability initiatives, supporting strategic projects for the Government of India and NITI Aayog. He also served as Business Manager at Orthocure Healthcare, where he successfully launched new rehabilitation products and healthcare facilities while driving business process transformation. His career began with Eye-Q Vision Pvt. Ltd., where, as Manager – Marketing, he led marketing strategy, business development, and the launch of innovative healthcare programs.
Nikhil holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), where he also served as Placement Coordinator – Healthcare Management. He also earned an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Facilities Administration/Management from the Institute of Management Studies, DAVV, Indore, providing him with a strong foundation in healthcare management, strategy, and business leadership.
