Toledo, Ohio, United States – October 2024 – Brendan Karchner has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Buckeye Broadband, a leading provider of cable, internet, and phone services in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. In his new role, Brendan will drive financial strategy, ensure robust financial controls, and support the company’s growth in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions.
Before assuming the CFO role, Brendan served as the Controller at Buckeye Broadband for approximately three years. During his tenure, he focused on financial reporting, budget management, and streamlining accounting processes, contributing to the company’s financial stability and strategic growth.
Prior to Buckeye Broadband, Brendan was an Assurance Senior Manager at EY, where he gained nearly eight years of experience. At EY, he oversaw audits, managed client relationships, and ensured compliance with financial regulations, providing valuable insights into business performance and governance.
Brendan began his finance career as an Audit Intern at Davenport, Hanf & Company, LLC (DHC, LLC), followed by a Tax Intern role at Ernst & Young, where he built a strong foundation in auditing, tax compliance, and financial analysis.
