CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES, June, 2026 — The Campbell’s Company has announced two key leadership appointments within its Operating Committee as part of a planned succession process. Melissa Nippert has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, while Beth Jolly has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. The appointments follow the planned retirements of Dan Poland, Executive Vice President and Chief Enterprise Transformation Officer, and Anthony Sanzio, Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, at the end of Campbell’s fiscal year.
The leadership changes reflect Campbell’s continued focus on strengthening operational capabilities, stakeholder alignment, and enterprise-wide execution as the company advances its growth strategy.
“I’m pleased to welcome Melissa and Beth into these leadership roles. Both functions are critical to Campbell’s as we strengthen operations, build capabilities, align stakeholders and execute our growth strategy. Melissa has a proven transformation track record and has played a key role in advancing this work at Campbell’s,” said Mick Beekhuizen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Campbell’s. “Beth is a highly respected communications leader with strong partnerships across the organization and is well positioned to expand her impact in this role. These transitions reflect our thoughtful succession planning and development of talent with experienced leaders ready to build on our momentum.”
Melissa Nippert Named Chief Transformation Officer
Melissa Nippert joined Campbell’s in 2022 to lead Supply Chain Transformation and has since expanded her responsibilities to include Enterprise Excellence and Transformation. In her new role as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, she will continue leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and supporting the company’s strategic growth agenda.
As a member of Campbell’s Operating Committee, Nippert will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Mick Beekhuizen and oversee initiatives designed to enhance organizational effectiveness, continuous improvement, and long-term value creation.
She succeeds Dan Poland, who joined Campbell’s in 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer before expanding his responsibilities in 2024 to lead Enterprise Transformation. During his tenure, Poland helped build critical transformation capabilities across key business functions while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Beth Jolly Named Chief Communications Officer
Beth Jolly has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer following more than two decades with Campbell’s. Most recently, she led communications for the company’s business divisions and Growth Office.
Throughout her 23-year career with Campbell’s, Jolly has held leadership roles spanning sales communications, executive communications, internal communications, and brand public relations. In her new position, she will oversee all internal and external communications activities, The Campbell’s Foundation, and community affairs initiatives.
Jolly will report to Diane Johnson May, Executive Vice President and Chief People and Culture Officer.
She succeeds Anthony Sanzio, who has spent nearly 20 years with Campbell’s, including more than a decade leading the company’s Communications function. During his tenure, Sanzio provided strategic communications leadership through significant business evolution and supported four chief executive officers.
“I want to thank Dan and Anthony for their many contributions to Campbell’s. Dan’s leadership has strengthened our organization on multiple fronts, and Anthony has been a trusted partner who has made a lasting impact over nearly two decades with the company. I wish them both the very best in retirement,” added Beekhuizen.
The appointments underscore Campbell’s commitment to leadership development, succession planning, and strengthening critical business capabilities as the company continues to execute its long-term growth and transformation strategy.
