BOSTON, Massachusetts, United States, March 2025 — Capstone Partners, a leading middle market investment banking firm, has announced the promotion of Crista Gilmore to Managing Director within the firm’s Building Products & Construction Services Group. The promotion reflects her outstanding contributions, deep industry expertise, and commitment to client success since joining the firm in 2017.
With over 15 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions advisory, public accounting, valuation, and corporate finance, Gilmore specializes in sell-side transactions for businesses in Architecture, Engineering, and various trades sectors.
A Certified Public Accountant and CFA Charterholder, Gilmore began her career at KPMG LLP, where she audited clients ranging from small non-profits to Fortune 100 companies. She also held a position in fund accounting and valuation at a multi-strategy hedge fund, further strengthening her financial expertise.
At Capstone Partners, Gilmore has been instrumental in helping clients navigate strategic transactions and successful exits. Her recent advisory roles include the sale of full-service electrical contractor RK Electric to Huron Capital, and the partnership between Poulos & Bennett and Pape-Dawson Engineers.
In 2021, Gilmore was named an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor, recognizing her as one of the most promising young professionals in the mergers and acquisitions industry.
