With an extensive background in human resources leadership, organizational development, and employee relations, Carrie brings over 15 years of HR expertise across multiple industries, including manufacturing, county government, and corporate leadership.
Prior to joining Sioux Steel Company, Carrie served as Human Resources Director at Pipestone County, where she led HR policy implementation, compliance, and workforce development. Before that, she was the Director of Human Resources at Global Polymer Industries, Inc., where she focused on succession planning, HRIS management, regulatory compliance, and leadership development.
Her career also includes significant experience at Dakotaland Manufacturing, Inc., where she established HR policies, oversaw staffing and compensation strategies, and implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) for organizational development. Earlier in her career, Carrie built and led the HR function at Montgomery’s, a multi-location retail business, developing recruitment blueprints, performance improvement plans, and compliance frameworks.
With her strong expertise in HR strategy, employee engagement, and organizational leadership, Carrie is well-positioned to support Sioux Steel’s people-first culture, drive operational excellence, and enhance workforce development initiatives as the company continues its legacy of quality manufacturing.
