Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, August 2024 – Cecilia Espino-Trujillo has taken on the role of Regional Chief Human Resources Officer at Hawaii Health Systems Corporation. In this capacity, Cecilia will lead HR initiatives across the corporation, driving strategic human resources practices to support the healthcare system’s mission and values.
Cecilia Espino-Trujillo joins Hawaii Health Systems Corporation after a distinguished tenure at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, where she served for 4 years. Most recently, she held the position of Director Strategic Human Resources Business Partner for 2 years, leading HR strategies and fostering business partnerships. Prior to that, she was the Human Resources Director for 2 years, overseeing HR operations and employee relations in Colorado.
Before her time at CommonSpirit Health, Cecilia was the Human Resources Manager at MxV Rail in Pueblo, Colorado, for over 2 years. She was responsible for managing HR functions and contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures that enhanced organizational effectiveness.
Cecilia also served as the Human Resources Manager at Pueblo Water for more than 2 years, where she led HR operations and implemented strategic HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and performance.
Her earlier career includes roles such as Human Resources & Risk Manager at City of Alamosa, Human Resources Generalist at SLV Behavioral Health Group, Inc, and Educational Recruiter at SLV BOCES. In these positions, she developed her skills in HR management, employee relations, and recruitment.
