Greater Chicago Area, United States, February 2026 – Chad Williams has started a new position as Vice President Global Marketing – Light Water at Ecolab, taking on global leadership responsibility for accelerating growth and commercialization across the Light Water portfolio.
Chad most recently served as Vice President Global Marketing – Basic Industries at Ecolab, where he led global marketing for Mining, Primary Metals, and Power business units. In this role, he oversaw strategic, product, and communications marketing teams, along with a global network of Industry Technical Consultants, driving innovation commercialization and portfolio acceleration.
Prior to that, Chad spent over a decade at Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company, progressing through multiple marketing leadership roles including Global Marketing Director – Power Industry. He led strategic planning and annual business planning processes for a $350M Power business unit, developed strategic growth bets in new and existing market segments, cultivated innovation portfolios, and partnered cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Finance to drive organic and inorganic growth. His leadership delivered multiple years of profitable growth, digital adoption initiatives, and margin expansion.
Earlier in his career, Chad held sales and engineering roles at ifm efector, Inc. and Keyence, building a strong foundation in factory automation, engineered solutions, and customer-centric growth across diverse industries.
Chad holds an MBA in Strategy, Innovation, and Business Analytics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, further strengthening his strategic and analytical leadership capabilities.
