Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2025 – Chander Shekhar Sibal has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer – India at SS Innovations International, Inc., marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career in the healthcare technology and medical devices industry. In this newly assumed leadership role, he will be responsible for spearheading the strategic growth and expansion of SS Innovations’ cutting-edge surgical robotics ecosystem in India, with a strong focus on accessibility, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Chander brings with him over three decades of deep industry experience, with his most recent tenure being at Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd., where he served as Senior Vice President, Medical Division for over 12 years. Under his leadership, the medical division transformed its P&L performance from red to green, scaled revenues more than threefold, and established a 60,000+ strong installed base across India. He also led the company to achieve No. 1 market share in multiple imaging categories including FCR, DR, FFDM, and Film.
Prior to Fujifilm, Chander held the position of Director Sales – Healthcare Medical Equipment at Samsung Medison, where he was responsible for driving nationwide growth in sales and market reach. Before that, he spent over 14 years at GE Healthcare, where he held several leadership roles including National Product Manager – Premium CT, Regional Manager – North West, and Zonal Product Manager. His contributions significantly boosted market share, employee productivity, and government account penetration across India.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership and engineering roles at Larsen & Toubro Medical, and Instromedix India Pvt. Ltd., where he was recognized for his excellence in service delivery and customer satisfaction. His journey has been adorned with multiple awards including the GEMS Asia Award, Management Awards at GE, and recognition from NIIT for highest sales performance.
